Great photography happens at the intersection of creativity and technical expertise, as well as the ability of the photographer and subject to work together on style, poses, expression, and more. I work tirelessly to excel in all of these areas. In addition, I want every moment of your experience with our studio to be perfect–fun, organized, informative, comfortable, easy, casual…these are all words that describe our style and the time you spend with us.
As with most things, there are very real differences among photographers – in their style, their experience, the quality of their equipment, their attention to what you want… and in the results they deliver. Let’s set up a call or a meeting to talk about all this–I’ll be happy to show you how our approach results in beautiful, high quality images…and the best customer service anywhere.
a little about me
I worked for over 20 years as a commercial photographer at NewsChannel 13 (the NBC-TV station in Albany, NY), shooting all the still photos for print advertising, billboards, bus wraps, etc., to promote our News programming. Since leaving NC13, I’ve concentrated solely on the independent photography business I had started years before as a part-time venture.
In addition to portraits, I also do a lot of commercial and public relations photography for a number of clients, including St. Peter’s Health Partners, Albany Medical Center, Freihofer’s, and architectural work for Jean Lewis Maloy/JLM Interiors and Neil Pelone Architecture. One other thing worth a mention–for many years, I shot running races all over the country and around the world for ESPN’s “Running and Racing” and “Race of the Month” programs.
Outside of my work, I’m really proud of our family, and spend as much time as possible on a wide range of family activities. My wife Noëlle is a published writer, and just finished her first novel. We pride ourselves on (almost) never missing a school event for any of the kids.
