I knew I wanted to shoot this wedding after about the first minute of my first conversation with Nicole. She’s super fun, and her ideas for an intimate, unique winter wedding were very intriguing to me. My wife and I had been to Lucas Confectionery in Troy a few times for dinner, and I’m pretty sure that any photographer who walks into that building has visions of shooting there! And the more you walk around the space, the more you realize that this is truly an amazing opportunity to create photos with a completely different vibe from what we normally do. My favorite photos always tell a story, and the story this setting tells is just plain cool! Add in awesome food from the Lucas team, donuts from Nibble, Inc., and flowers from Colie Collen of Flower Scout, and the whole things was one-of-a-kind.
