meg & nick at st. john the evangelist and glen sanders mansion
We are so lucky to have the great clients we get to work with week in and week out. I know stories of difficult clients (and vendors…) are common in this business, but for whatever reason, we seem to get the gems! Meg & Nick are perfect examples—loved these two from the first time we met!
The wedding day turned out to be a perfect summer day—warm without being ridiculous, and a beautiful blue sky with just a hint of clouds. You know, the pretty kind! Upon arriving at Meg’s parents’ house, we found the girls were all just about ready for us…that’s always nice, too! A big shout out to Make Me Fabulous for always doing such a great job with hair and makeup! Shortly, it was time for Meg to get into her wedding dress…and man, what a dress it was! Definitely one of our favorites of the year–it’s unique, dramatic, and just really beautiful. We weren’t surprised to find out she got it from Angela’s Bridal!
We proceeded downtown for Meg and Nick’s 1st Look, and then Wedding Party photos. All really good stuff—their Wedding Party was definitely a ton of fun. Next, we were off to the Rose Garden in Schenectady’s Central Park for family photos and a serious war with tiny flying bugs. Jeesh! Luckily, we were able to get through that, and the photos from there are some of the best of the entire day!
Some things in life can simply be counted on–St. John the Evangelist always makes for a dramatic wedding ceremony, and the Glen Sanders Mansion puts on a great reception. Meg & Nick chose an especially fabulous menu, with an incredible selection on the buffet stations. After dinner, the TS Ensemble was in full stride, and it was all just huge fun. Another great wedding in the books!
So, congratulations to this truly wonderful couple—we had a great time working with you!
Can’t forget to mention the rest of the great vendors who played a part in Meg & Nick’s wedding day – flowers by Party with Mia, and transport by Today’s Limo.
